How to Change Your WordPress Permalink Structure (Video Transcription):

Hi Guys, this is Roel, today we’ll be changing your Permalink Structure.

Step 1: Go to Permalinks Settings

As a digital marketing professional, I always recommend changing your permalink structure. To do this, hover your mouse to Settings and click Permalinks.

Step 2: Deciding the Permalink Structure

For websites and blogs that post content that is related to current events and news, selecting “Date and name” or “Month and name” would be perfectly fine.

However, for most sites that creates timeless or evergreen content, it doesn’t need the date.

I don’t recommend Plain or Numeric as it won’t help in SEO. So, once you’ve decided on what settings would be best for your content, just scroll down and click “Save Changes”.
